After the official press launch of the SNP's campaign for the Glasgow East by election, Alex Salmond and John Mason spent some time listening to local people in the community centre we were in. Suddenly I heard a little voice call out "any questions anybody?" and it was this wee one on the left of the picture. I think they look the part don't you?

Devotion to the cause

This is Councillor Alison Thewliss who is getting married in August. She left the campaigning in Glasgow East to go for a trial wedding hair appointment ... as you can see! And she rushed straight back to put together canvass packs so that our members could get out campaigning for the Glasgow East by election. That's devotion for you!

Scottish Parliament Reception for Challenges Worldwide

This was the charity that sent me out to Sri Lanka and the reception was to celebrate the successful completion of the Scottish Government funded Sri Lanka programme.
